Cory Weaver, Freelance Photographer, based in New York City, shoots Opera and Theater all over the United States. Starting as photo editor at The Saint Louis University -- University News, Cory interned with the Associated Press and served as a freelancer with the Suburban Journals of North County and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

However, the most important of internships or freelance gigs was the internship at the Opera Theater of Saint Louis in 2001, where Cory met Ken Howard. From that point on Cory spent every season till 2007 as the photo assistant to Ken Howard; ultimately solidifying his niche in Opera/Theater photography. During those years as photography assistant at the Opera Theater of Saint Louis, Cory was hired as production photographer for the Tulsa Opera, Opera Vivente, Union Avenue Opera Theater and the Maryland Opera Studio -- to name a few.
